Glacier Park Adventure

Last week, I got a chance to hike and camp at one of my favorite places on this planet. The first day we drove into the park in the early morning and had the coolest view on Going To The Sun Road. Each and every time I drive through GNP it's like the first! That morning, the clouds were passing through the valley making it feel like we were closer to the heavens. All day we hung out around St. Mary's Lake where the wind was blowing constantly. We set up our tent at the St. Mary's campground before we headed to watch the sunset, which didn't happen because the heavy clouds covered the sky.

The next morning, we headed to Many Glacier to hike to Iceberg Lake. For about three summers now I have been wishing to go. I can confidently say that it was the prettiest trail I have hiked to this day in Glacier. TOTALLY worth the wait, but also, why didn't I go sooner?! The bear grass, valleys, river, cliffs, and little creeks gave us all sorts of butterfly feelings.

After every trip to GNP I learn new things, and today I want to give you one piece of advice. If you are heading to Many Glacier make sure you get there early! That side of the park has limited parking and they DO close the entrance; get there before 9am!

Enjoy some of my favorite photos I got over the two days.
